On Saturday, April 30, there were a number of break-ins and attempted break-ins at several businesses within the Echuca port area.
Blossom & Co, the Port Atelier, the Odd Captain and a hairdressing studio were just some of the businesses that were targeted.
Detective Senior Constable James Scambler said Campaspe Police were still investigating the matter.
Police are assessing any CCTV footage of the area, but it is believed the same offender(s) may have targeted all of these businesses.
Det Sen Cons Scambler urged business owners and employees to double check that all doors and windows were locked at their place of work, before exiting the establishment and heading home.
“The important thing for business owners is to remain vigilant when it comes to security,” he said.
“If you don’t have any CCTV fitted at your store, then consider having it installed as a precaution.”
If anybody has any further information regarding the break-ins, phone Campaspe Police on 5483 1500.
