Fourteen photos will be selected to feature in the 2021 calendar, which will be available to the community at collection points across the shire.
In addition to a formal entry, people can post photos on Instagram and Facebook using hashtags #MyCampaspe and #LoveWhereYouLive.
Up to five photos can be entered by each person, with each winning entry receiving $50, a calendar and bragging rights for a full year.
Photos must be of locations in Campaspe Shire, high quality and in landscape orientation.
Photos from the competition will also form part of council’s photographic library and feature in promotional publications, council reports and on social media.
The competition is now open, with entries being accepted until October 7.
Submissions can be made online at campaspe.vic.gov.au/photocomp. Users can submit their photos and entry directly from their smartphone.
Kyabram Community Plan
The Kyabram community, in partnership with Campaspe Shire Council, is developing a place-based plan to help make Kyabram an even better place to live in the future.
Council wants to know what residents like most about Kyabram. Submissions can be made online at under the ‘open for comment’ section.campaspe.vic.gov.au

Expression of Interest for Echuca East works
Campaspe Shire Council is seeking contractors to submit expressions of interest for Stage 1 of the Echuca East Community Precinct Project.
Stage 1 consists of the construction of a community centre, playground and carpark. Only contractors who lodge an EOI will be eligible for assessment and an opportunity to progress to the tender stage.

MRC grants open
Applications for Round 1 of Murray River Council’s 2020/21 Community Grants Program are now open.
The competitive grant round offers individual grants of up to $3000 to local community groups or not-for-profit organisations.
These community grants are in addition to funds currently being provided to recurring, annual events and projects.
