The evening is being hosted by Moama Lions Club at Moama Recreation Reserve from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Acts to look out for include Katie Stroud, the Moama Anglican Grammar Drumline and Choir, Elise Drake and Chloe Schuliga.
The Moama Lions Club barbecue will be operating from 5.30pm, with candles and programs available.
The night will include a visit from the big man himself — Santa.
“The kids can run and play and do what they like. It’s a beautiful setting, so what more could you want?” Moama Lions Club president Colin Hosking said.
“We’ll have candles and glow sticks and that sort of thing on the night. People with their phones, once it gets to the darker part of the evening, it sort of lights the whole place up.”
Carols by Candlelight had to be cancelled last year due to the floods, but the club’s secretary Graham Johnston said he was pleased to see it return.
“We cancelled it, but it’s great to have it back because these things bring the community together after things like the floods and COVID,” Mr Johnston said.
“Something which brings the community together is very important and it gives what you would hope is a positive message.
“It also shows what the Lions club does for the community too, and not just with the Christmas carols, but the other things that we sponsor around town. So I think it’s a good all-round deal for the community.”
