The Cobram Agricultural Show provided attendees with a fun-filled two days of action at the weekend in yet another superb iteration of the event.

State Member for Ovens Valley Tim McCurdy opened the event which began on Saturday, October 25 and ran for two days.
Events included the usual agricultural events as well as dachshund racing, pig racing pet parade and more.
Kids’ entertainment included mermaid braids, flower exhibits, Dinkum Dinosaurs, colonial Clydesdales and camel rides.

In the lead up to the event, the show’s president Jodie Wilson took time to thank the volunteers who made the days possible.
“Of course, none of this could be possible without our volunteers who give up their time throughout the course of the year to ensure that we are able to put on the best two-day show possible,” she said.
“There are so many volunteer hours that go into creating the Cobram show and I would like to say thank you to each and every one of you for all you do.”

She also emphasised the importance of supporting small and local businesses.
“We hope everyone can get behind our incredible sponsors throughout the year and go ‘shop local’ and use their services whenever possible,” Ms Wilson said.
“Local businessess are the backbone of our community and we really need to support them as much as possible.”
