The grand reopening will be on Friday, December 5 with the store opening at 6am and fresh tastings available.
“The whole internals of the bakery will be stripped and rebuilt, so it’ll have a brand new, fresh look, new equipment, it’ll look like a brand-new bakery but in the same location,” Mrs Curtis said.
Liza and Vince Curtis have been the franchisees of the Kyabram Bakers Delight store for 23 years now.
“Quite ironically, Cobram opened a few months before we did in Kyabram, but we were actually over there helping the franchisees over 23 years ago with their opening,” Mrs Curtis said.
“So we’ve come full circle.”
All the traditional goods will be available, including the delicious Christmas fruit mince tarts and lemon tarts.

“The family favourite in Cobram is the ciabatta bread, my personal favourite is the cape seed bread, it’s packed full of grains and seeds and absolutely beautiful flavours,” Mrs Curtis said.
“People ask why the bread's so good — it's baked fresh every day, there are no preservatives in any of our bread, and we don't put sugar in our bread so it’s good for you, and it’s healthy.”

Mrs Curtis said they were very excited to welcome some of the original staff back to the store.
“People will be able to come in and visit the old staff who were there beforehand, and we've got some new staff as well,” she said.
“We've had, through Facebook posts and just meeting people on the street, a lot of people comment on how good the sales staff were.
“It's a great opportunity, and it's going to be really good because Cobram's excited about getting it back.
“They've had a Bakers Delight, they know what they've lost, so they're really excited about getting it back, which will be great.
“It’ll be good to be able to do that for the town.”
The Cobram Bakers Delight store is located on Punt Rd and will be open from 6am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 6am to 4pm on weekends.
