Rochester Junior Football Club is holding a Big Freeze 10 event on Sunday, June 2, to raise funds for FightMND.
Following the under-12s game at 11am, the fundraiser will be held and everyone is invited along to Rochester’s Windridge Oval.
Club football coaches, club president Casey James and other community members will be dunked to mark the occasion.
The club has raised almost $3000 for the cause, smashing the goal of $2000, which was reached much earlier than expected.
As new targets are reached, the club has revealed some of their “dunkees” including Rochy’s Troy Powles.
Big Freeze 10 supports research into motor neurone disease — a debilitating condition with a life expectancy of 27 months from diagnoses.
The event is in its 10th year of fundraising.
