Running as part of the Edward River Council Community Christmas Party, carols is coordinated by the Rotary Club of Deniliquin and supported by Edward River Council.
It’s one of the biggest community events of the year, and the combined events will run from about 6pm to 9pm.
Rotary projects co-ordinator Simon Genoff said the community can expect the night of carols to be pretty similar to last year’s joyful event.
Various high-level local musical talents have been secured to perform.
These include Lachlan McIntyre an international classically trained singer as well as the Edward River Concert Band and Sing Australia members who will be performing throughout the night as well as a couple of other quality supporting acts.
Before the carols is scheduled to be the Mayor’s Christmas address.
The carols are free to attend, and is a great family-friendly evening.
Before you settle down for some singing, you can enjoy all the fun and festivities the Edward River Community Christmas Party offers.
There will be a petting zoo, inflatable rides, kids’ crafts and face painting, food and refreshment stalls and even a special visit from Santa.
The Deniliquin Pastoral Times’ Think B4U Click major prize draw will also take place during the evening, with $5000 up for grabs.
The event will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display, weather permitting.
