The event saw local emergency services, utility providers, and government departments set up stalls and interactive activities for the community, helping to raise awareness about their roles.
Mayor Daniel Mackrell declared the day a resounding success and said the council noticed plenty of interaction between attendees and stallholders.
“It’s about educating the public, and it's all part of the process of making people aware of what's around,” he said.
“It was really a good community effort because it’s all about our community.”

With the Fire Danger Period to begin in Campaspe on Monday, November 3, the event was held at a pivotal time.
Representatives from CFA, Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria, VICSES, Coliban Water, Agriculture Victoria, and NSW Marine Rescue, among others, were on hand to answer questions.
The Port of Echuca’s Country Fair was running nearby, which Cr Mackrell said helped to boost the number of attendees at the event.
Following its success, the council hopes to continue holding the event annually.
