River TV production meeting
A production meeting will be held by Northern Access Television Association Inc. for all who are interested in the River TV project and other potential Community TV production in Echuca-Moama on Sunday, November 13, from 2.30pm at Echuca Workers.
People interested in being part of the show or other productions in any aspect, experienced or not, are welcome to attend.
Potential topics for the program, and crew roles for the show, will be discussed, as well as other potential productions for C31 Melbourne Community TV.

Alton Gallery
The Alton Gallery is showcasing an exhibition with the theme ‘Of Drought and Flooding Rains’. It is an exhibition of paintings inspired by Dorothea Mackellar’s poem My Country.
The exhibition will be on show until December 31.
The Alton Gallery is at 111 Hare St, Echuca.

Wharparilla Lodge Oaks Day Luncheon
Wharparilla Lodge Auxiliary is inviting you to an Oaks Day Luncheon on Thursday, November 3, from 12.30pm.
The event will be held at the Cunningham Downs Village Community Centre, Mt Terrick Rd, Echuca West. The luncheon will feature chicken, salads, sweets and of course champagne.
There will be prizes on offer for the Lady of the Day and Hat of the Day, while a number of sweeps are also set to be run.

Letton to star in Lockington
The Lockington Lions Club is pleased to present guest artist Brian Letton, a country music entertainer, at the Community Hall, Lockington, on Friday, November 4.
Cost is $30 per person, which includes a light supper, BYO drinks, plenty of music and dancing as well. Start time is 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
All profits raised will go to the Lismore Lions Club to help with flood relief.

St Joseph’s College reunion
St Joseph’s College’s class of 1989 (starting in 1984) will have a reunion on Saturday, November 19.
The event will include a tour of St Joseph’s College, starting at the school gate at 4pm.
An evening event will then take place from 5pm at the Shamrock Hotel in Echuca, where people can gather at their leisure and catch up on old times.

Echuca Bridge Club
Echuca Bridge Club has weekly duplicate tournaments on Wednesdays and Thursdays starting at 4pm, with hand records always available.
The club uses BridgePads so scores are available within a few seconds of the end of each session and are then emailed to all participants and uploaded to the website.

Bella A’Capella
Bella A’Capella is a small choir of enthusiastic singers who meet every Monday night at the Uniting Church Hall on the corner of Hare and Pakenham streets, Echuca.
The harmonies produced are usually in four parts, without musical accompaniment.

Echuca Farmers’ Market
The market is held on the first and third Saturdays of the month from 8am to noon at the Aquatic Reserve next to the Echuca Visitor Information Centre.
The market has the best of local produce, including olives, cheese, fruit, breads, jams, sweets, speciality soaps and goods, as well as a variety of wines.
River Voices Choir
River Voices Choir is a local community choir with a wide selection of chorale music, singing in four-part harmonies.
The choir meets weekly on a Sunday afternoon during school terms at the Uniting Church chapel in Hare St, Echuca.
It is professionally led and has performed in concerts, Anzac Day services, aged care homes and its annual Christmas carols in December.
Members from the choir come from all around the district, including Deniliquin, Tongala, Kyabram, Gunbower and Echuca-Moama.
The choir is seeking new members.

Echuca/Moama & District Probus Club
We are the founding club of four Probus clubs in the area and we are looking to expand our membership.
We meet on the last Monday of the month at Rich River Golf Club at 10am, with the exception of December.
We meet for morning tea on the first Monday of the month at various venues as we try to support all the businesses in the area.
We meet for lunch on the Monday before the meeting, again at a venue around town.
