A crowd of more than 100 were inspired by stories of recovery from violence, abuse and addiction and given the opportunity to connect with services in Shepparton on Thursday, October 16.

The About Time 4 Connection event saw several guest speakers take to the mic, including locals Jaymie Paris and Daniel McKay telling their stories publicly for the first time about their rise from rock bottom.
Yorta Yorta man Jarvis ‘Chainbreaker’ Atkinson was the MC for the event, which saw the crowd spill out the doors into standing room at the Rumbalara Football Netball Club rooms.
Guests and other guest speakers travelled from outside the Goulburn Valley to share and connect.
Along with a guided breath work session and a free lunch, there were also activities for kids and a market stall.
Lutfiye Kavci, Jarvis ‘Chainbreaker’ Atkinson, Jaymie Paris and Jacob Little all spoke at the event.
