Primary schools from across the district participated in gala days at Deniliquin Memorial Park on Thursday and Friday.
It included students from Edward, North, South and St Michael’s, as well as students from Hay and the small schools of Blighty, Bunnaloo, Conargo and Mayrung.
Multiple teams representing the schools competed in modified cricketing round robins, with Year 3-4 taking to the oval on Thursday, and Year 5-6 getting their chance Friday.
The inclusive tournaments promote the enjoyment of cricket with a Big Bash theme.
