Head to the pop-up park at the Port of Echuca for entertaining commentary, playful interactions and dancing.
Sandstation ― Saturday, February 28 ― 10am to 1pm
Children and families are invited to immerse themselves in a hands-on creative experience at the Port of Echuca pop-up park for free.
Sandsation is a calm, sensory activity that encourages children to express themselves, explore colour combinations and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something completely their own.
It’s suitable for a wide range of ages, and sees kids create their own sand art picture by carefully laying colourful sand on to pre-adhesive cards.
The Great Family Sand Sculpt Off ― Sunday, March 1 ― 10am to 1pm
Gather family or friends and take part in a fun, hands-on sandcastle challenge at Moama Beach.
The experience begins with a tutorial led by a professional sand sculptor, who will share insider techniques including carving, shaping, structure and fine detailing.
Following the tutorial, teams of up to four will put them into action by creating their own original sandcastle ― with all tools provided.
