Between 10pm on Friday, May 3, and 11am on Saturday, May 4, offenders attended a property on Wilkinson Dr, Echuca. They forced their way into a motor vehicle and trailer and allegedly stole multiple power tools.
Petrol theft
At 12.47am on Thursday, May 2, an Echuca BP service station had $134.91 worth of fuel stolen. Police allege a male offender was driving a VE Holden Commodore Utility with the NSW number plate D133KM.
Man charged
A 36-year-old Echuca man was arrested and interviewed by local police on Friday, May 3, after they executed a search warrant.
The search took place at a Boothman St, Echuca, property and was related to a credit card that was reported stolen from a resident at a local aged care facility in April. The credit card was used at five different businesses in Echuca and Shepparton.
The man was charged with theft and obtaining property by deception.
