AN ECHUCA man is behind bars after allegedly being caught with a stolen car in Patho.
Echuca police arrested Guy Madin while he was changing a tyre on the ute on the morning of Tuesday, January 19.
The ute is believed to have been stolen from St Albans on New Year’s Eve.
The 31-year-old was charged with theft of a motor vehicle before appearing in Echuca Magistrates’ Court later on Tuesday.
He was remanded in custody until the end of February when he will appear in the same court.
