Susan Eacott and her co-organiser, Pam Fraser, are celebrating after raising more than $7000 for the cancer wellness programs at Echuca Regional Health.

“The wellness programs include the councillor or the social worker that you might need to see, the yoga lessons, just wellness programs that help people as they go through their cancer,” Ms Eacott said.

The money was raised at the Autumn Ladies Lunch on Friday, May 12, through ticket sales and an auction.
Ms Eacott said the day was a huge success, with around 130 women in attendance.

Some of the auction items included a paddlesteamer lunch, a night at a Sofitel hotel, and collector dolls.
There were also smaller options such as platters and vases and other similar items.
The event used to be a breakfast and was focused on raising funds to build Echuca’s Cancer and Wellness Centre.
However, with that goal completed, Ms Eacott and Ms Fraser turned the event to a lunch and rededicated the purpose to continuing a wellness program.
