A2B Consumables is supplying M80 Ring Road completion and Eastern Fwy upgrades crews with uniforms and personal protective equipment.
The Yorta Yorta-owned and controlled business has also provided opportunities to workers through its Aboriginal employment service, A2B Personnel.
It has provided 36,000 employment hours on North East Link tunnels to Indigenous labourers.
Its role in providing uniforms and hi-vis workwear has also resulted in the employment of two Echuca women.

SisterWorks, a support service for migrant women to find jobs, has partnered with A2B to provide a further two roles in Echuca.
“The story of our business is a real and tangible example of employment benefits in regional areas from the big build,” A2B Consumables managing director Benny Walker said.
“The support of North East Link and the Victorian Government is going to create more opportunities for regional businesses like ours to offer more employment to people in our area.”
North East Link Program has employed more than 5000 workers, with 2.5 per cent of work hours committed to be completed by Aboriginal people.
The Victorian Government projects are providing support to regional businesses like A2B Consumables and A2B Personnel, North East Link Program executive program director Jim Waller says.
“Victoria’s Big Build is supporting our regions and providing jobs where they’re needed most, and it’s great for major projects like the M80 Ring Road completion and Eastern Fwy upgrades to provide opportunities for people outside the greater Melbourne area,” he said.
“With works ramping up across these major projects, we can continue supporting many local businesses, individuals and families.”
