Women from across the community gathered at Echuca East Reserve to celebrate International Women’s Day at the Ngala Yapaneyepuk ‘We Make Together’ Cultural Craft workshop, facilitated by Neva Atkinson.

Throughout the workshop, she guided the participants as they crafted their own unique Aboriginal cultural items, transforming repurposed necklaces with emu feathers, beads and gum nuts.
As part of Campaspe Shire Council’s two-week International Women’s Day Program, the workshop empowered the group of women through learning, connection and new experiences.
