Ms Chapman has had an extensive career in health in both New South Wales and Victoria, most recently as the interim chief executive of Albury Wodonga Health.
Other roles have included deputy chief executive Albury Wodonga Health, regional director health in the Hume region, and manager service and corporate planning for Greater Southern Area Health Service (NSW).
Ms Chapman said she knows how important it is for border services to understand the needs of their communities in both Victoria and NSW, having worked for nearly 30 years in a cross-border environment.
“As a former senior health executive, I know how hard the past few years have been for health services and for communities, and I am looking forward to working with my fellow board directors and the executive team at ERH to support the organisation and community recover from the impact of COVID-19,” she said.
With qualifications including Bachelor of Science, Diploma in Education, Graduate Diploma in Human Nutrition and a Masters in Health Service Management, Ms Chapman holds an Adjunct Associate Professor position at La Trobe University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has had previous board experience at Benalla Health and as chair of Lifeline Albury Wodonga.
Ms Chapman is passionate about rural and regional health and has a particular interest in improving access to care. She is looking forward to working with her fellow board directors to support the delivery of high-quality health care for the local community.
Mr Jose is an experienced water and irrigation sector executive, who is currently the general manager for Infrastructure Delivery Services at Goulburn Murray Water. Since 2010, he has held executive management roles in both private and public sector companies.
Mr Jose said: “I am passionate about regional government businesses providing value to the communities they serve. As a board director of Echuca Regional Health, I am most looking forward to assisting the board and executive team in the areas of infrastructure, assets and equipment plans and strategies, and the general approach to staff safety performance”.
With a Bachelor of Engineering (Geological) and a Masters of Engineering Science (Geotechnical), Mr Jose has nearly 30 years industry experience working in Australia and Europe. His key expertise relates to infrastructure modernisation and capital programs, major project delivery, strategic asset planning and management, general construction and maintenance activities.
