Four waste skip bins for campers’ waste only will be placed in key camping locations in Campaspe Shire over the Easter period.
Campaspe Shire Council is once again providing waste skips to support Easter campers and help keep popular recreation areas clean throughout the 2026 holiday period.
The skips will be located at Echuca east boat ramp, Victoria Park, Echuca, Torrumbarry Roadhouse and Gunbower Recreation Reserve to reduce littering and make waste disposal simple and accessible for visitors.
People are asked to keep access to the skips clear, so collection trucks can empty them safely, and don’t leave waste on the ground as it creates risks for wildlife and other campers.
If a skip is full, campers can dispose of bagged waste and recyclables at any of council’s Resource Recovery Centres across the shire for free.
