Organised by Murrayvale Aged Care, Fashions by Twillow came to the Allen Court Community Hall and with the help of Pam Banfield, Edith Mawson and Marg Griffiths as models, showcased their wide-range of fashions designed specifically for retirees.
Activities officer Sheree Schwencke was thrilled to have the fashion parade.
‘‘This is the first event like this we’ve had,’’ she said.
‘‘Twillow approached us to put on the show and we have this great hall so we thought it would be nice.
‘‘We thought it would be nice to integrate the two nursing homes.
‘‘It’s not often you have a fashion parade for the elderly. All the ladies were very excited for the afternoon.’’
