Murray River Police District hosted a special flag raising ceremony to officially mark NAIDOC Week on Friday.

Participating were members of the NSW Police Force, and representatives from Deniliquin High School, Deniliquin Local Aboriginal Lands Council and Yarkuwa Indigenous Knowledge Centre.
They were joined by members of the local indigenous and wider community.
The flag raising ceremony was followed by a shared lunch cooked by Deniliquin Rotary.
Rose Dunn and Yvonne Day raised the Aboriginal flag.
