Buds, Blooms and Blossoms curator and Murray River Art owner Alan Davidson said the exhibition, which ran from Friday night to Sunday night, showcased 65 pieces from 12 different artists across the region.
“It was a big night, we had it in Bonnie's, which is the little room off the bistro at the Caledonian Hotel,” Mr Davidson said.
“We had about 100 people through on the Friday night, which was great.”
The exhibition achieved impressive sales results, with 16 pieces sold on opening night.
“That is about 25 per cent and to sell 25 per cent on any opening night of any exhibition is exceptionally good,” Mr Davidson said.

An additional two pieces were sold over the weekend.
“I feel that flowers sell pretty well, as people like flowers,” Mr Davidson said.
“And there were a couple of artists I had in mind that I knew did lots of florals.”
The participating artists came from various regional locations including Echuca, Moama, Bendigo, Shepparton and Finley.

Bendigo artists Sharon Hocking and Sarah McCumber were among the featured creators.
Mr Davidson, a retired primary school teacher who runs Murray River Art, will now distribute the remaining 45 pieces across local venues, including Sweet Meadow, The Wren, Three Black Sheep in Moama, and Hammond Providore for exhibition and sale.
“I am doing it to help local artists and they appreciate that,' said Mr Davidson, who has scheduled two more pop-up exhibitions at the Caledonian Hotel for September and November.
The next exhibition will focus on portraiture.
Despite not being an artist himself, Mr Davidson is an avid collector with 322 pieces in his personal collection.
“I've got art on every wall, every room, 10cm apart, ceiling to floor,” he said.
