The Book Giving Tree initiative has been running for several years at the Edward River Library and is a place to donate again this year.
Edward River Library is inviting the community to share in the true spirit of Christmas and support families needing a little extra support this year.
From now until Monday, December 15, community members can place unwrapped children’s books under the Christmas Tree at the library in Napier St, Deniliquin.
This will help children have a better Christmas season, and bring joy to families in the district who need it most.
Last year, 116 books were given as part of the initiative, and the library is looking to improve on that number this holiday season.
