The evening was a sell-out event, with guests enjoying a night of fine dining, entertainment, and fundraising at its finest. The atmosphere was electric as the community came together to support a cause close to many hearts—the enhancement of surgical services at Yarrawonga Health.
Yarrawonga Health CEO, Robin Haberecht, praised the community’s support and the dedication behind the event.
“The Gala Ball was an extraordinary celebration of what can be achieved when community, compassion, and purpose come together,” Ms Haberecht said.
“We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of the evening, especially our dedicated staff, generous sponsors, and the many attendees who gave so willingly.
“These funds will directly support the purchase of critical equipment for our new theatre, which is nearing completion.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Sebel Hotel and the Sebel team who went over and above to showcase the beautiful venue and make our evening very special.
“The styling for the event was from Anna Barns of Bang Events and really complimented the elegance of the Sebel.
“A special thank you to Brenda Spilva, who brought her warmth and professionalism to the role of MC and helped make the evening flow seamlessly; the Spilva family have been strong advocates for our health service over many years and we were very honoured to have Brenda as our MC.”
Ms Haberecht extended Yarrawonga Health’s deepest thanks to the many sponsors who made the event possible.
She said their support demonstrated a shared commitment to advancing local healthcare and ensuring the Yarrawonga-Mulwala community had access to modern, high-quality surgical services.
The Community Heart Appeal continues to progress towards its fundraising goal of $1million. While the new theatre build will be completed in the coming weeks, the appeal will continue until that goal is reached and significant items of equipment are able to be purchased.
“As the theatre build moves into its final stages, events like the Gala Ball serve as a powerful reminder of how connected and caring this community truly is,” Ms Haberecht said.
