The Christian names starting with D dominated the stableford event on Thursday, with Lawrie West being an unlucky runner-up with a great score of 41 points.
Wayne Sperling pipped the “unlucky” Greg Norwood for the super-pin.
A big field of 220 played on the east course with 34 points on countback winning a voucher.
A grade: 1st: Darren Burr (41 points), 2nd: Craig Opie (40), 3rd: Michael Lizza (39).
B grade: 1st: Darren Toll (42), 2nd: Lawrie West (41), 3rd: Les Thomas (38).
C grade: 1st: Doug Crow (41), 2nd: Neil Moresco (39), 3rd: Mathew Speight (39).
Saturday, February 6
Craig Peterson took out the privilege cup with a fine score of 41 points.
Adam Nolan had a great round to win A grade and Gary Milligan survived a countback to win B grade.
Vicky Kulbars had the score of the day to win by the length of the straight in the ladies comp.
Tony Kelly and Dale Haw won the super-pins.
In all, 202 played the west course with 35 points on countback winning a voucher.

Monday, February 8
A good field of 77 played in fine conditions with Grant Scott edging out Fletcher Kelly and the consistent Susanne Riddington in the 18-hole event.
Traudy Barnes won B grade with Alison McKiterick winning the A grade 9-hole event and Debbie Gneil winning an event for the second week in a row.
18-hole

Tuesday, February 9
Mitch Pearson had the round of his life to win A grade from the in-form Keith McCormack.
Bob Peters held off Ap Kuiper in B grade and KD Martin won a countback over the improving Brendon Murphy.
There was a big field of 219 on the east course with 35 points on a countback winning a voucher.
Ted Fordham hit a very special shot on 16 to win the super-pin.

Wednesday, February 10
A big field of 122 played a Texas Ambrose event for the ladies opening day.
Elizabeth Connick, Lesley Mitchell, Lyn Newton and Marie Collins combined beautifully to take first place with Denise Ferrier, Louise Rolfe, Margaret Arnold and Lucille George only one shot behind.
Off the course the ladies enjoyed lunch, presentations from golf operations manager Steve Loader and golf committee captain David Pearson.
Kerry McLaughlan and Karen Evans won the Mad Hatter prizes.
Heather Gunstone won the super-pin.
1st: Elizabeth Connick, Lesley Mitchell, Lyn Newton and Marie Collins (99 points).
2nd: Denise Ferrier, Louise Rolfe, Margaret Arnold and Lucille George (98).
3rd: Robin Holland, Georgie Azzopardi, Jo Cash and Maree Ciavarella (94).
Veterans
On Friday, January 29, 30 golfers braved the inclement weather to play a stableford medley event on the west course.
Colleen Lynch had the best score of the day with 33 points.
Runner-up was Marion Whatley with 32 points on a countback from Trevor Moody and Rob Kilgour.
The next event will be held on Friday, February 12 at 8am for an 8.30shot gun start with lunch included.
The AGM will be held at 1pm on March 12 in the Tatalia Room after golf.
Committee nominations are open and will close at 5pm on February 18.
