Campaspe Shire Council is partnering with StartUp Central Victoria to deliver a business networking event this month in Echuca that will start you on the road to success.
The “What to do with your great idea” event will feature a StartUp Central Victoria Pre-Accelerator Program participant who came up with the idea for Tankie — a smart water tank level detector using BLE and smartphone technology — and also Echuca’s Two Lads Brewery/Bar Lee, who are producing their own beer and selling it at Bar Lee as well as at major liquor stockists.
StartUp Central Victoria offers free and accessible programs that help to test the viability of a new startup idea, along with support to help new businesses grow.
Campaspe Shire Mayor Daniel Mackrell said the networking event was one that should not be missed for those seeking to start or get help with a new business.
“Joining these events can help you feel part of a larger, supportive community of entrepreneurs,’’ he said.
‘’You'll find encouragement, advice and even mentorship from those who have been through similar journeys.
“It's a great opportunity to learn from the experiences of others and gain fresh perspectives that can help you improve your business.”
The StartUp Central Victoria business networking event will be held on Thursday, May 22, from 5pm at Bar Lee, 555 High St, Echuca.
Cost is $20 a person which includes a welcome drink and light refreshments.
