Children and parents gathered at the Port of Echuca wharf on Tuesday, December 30 for the Woody’s World: Bush Cabaret and Ukelele Workshop.

Led by Woody Clarke, a well-known children’s entertainer and educator, the event was a chance for children to not only learn, but to take part in the interactive show.

Mr Clarke provided each child with a ukulele to learn and play simple children’s songs on, as they sang along.
At the end of the workshop, the children took to the stage in front of their parents and port visitors, where they performed the songs they had learnt.
Ayla Rawlings and Aurora Lawrence were all ears.

Over at the Pop-Up Park, the Green Hat Workshop’s Loose Parts Play was also set up, with children free to explore all of the items and toys.
The Port of Echuca will continue to run its special summer program until Sunday, January 11.
