On Sunday, August 24, presenter James Tobin broadcast his ‘JT Travels NSW’ segment live from Moama, showcasing some of the highlights in town.
Food from Hammond Providore and Morrisons Riverview Winery were featured, as was Rich River Golf Club, where JT and the Morrisons crew tested their skills on the green.
About 9am, JT interviewed Echuca-Moama SUP owner Jess Nelson aboard a Moama on Murray Houseboats vessel, with paddlers floating by in the background.

JT was then given a tour of a Prestige houseboat by Moama on Murray Houseboats owner Damien Nunan, with locals volunteering to hop in the on-board spa for a live cross.
Speaking to The Riv, JT said the segment had gone swimmingly, and the team had enjoyed their time in town.
“It’s nice to get into this Riverine sunshine, and this morning has been great,” he said.
“We've had a really big group of the community come down and be part of our weather crosses this morning, which has really made it.”
Setting off from Sydney on Thursday last week, the team made its way through the Riverina region along the canola trail before arriving in town.
On Saturday night, part of the Sunrise crew dined at Moama Bowling Club, where JT said the venue was packed and the food was “fantastic”.
“It’s so good to see places just heaving, and the region just feels like it’s thriving,” he said.
“Every month we do a weekend with Destination NSW. We drive through a region, and it’s just such a nice way to showcase a place.”
The visit was part of Destination NSW’s Always On campaign, designed to inspire travel and showcase the best of regional NSW.
