The May 18 event is being staged for the second consecutive year by Lockington Neighbourhood House in partnership with the Bendigo Lego User Group.
On at Lockington and District Community Centre, from 10am to 2pm, with entry via gold coin donation, all proceeds from the day will support Lockington FoodShare and community kitchen.
Locky Blocks will feature many of the exhibits from the recent Bendigo Bricks 2025.
Entries in a local children’s building competition will also be on display, with winners to be announced at noon.
“There will be something for Lego fans of all ages,” event co-ordinator Owen O’Brien said.
‘’It is quite a coup for Lockington to draw such an extensive show given its population and location.
“Everyone involved with the inaugural Locky Blocks in 2024 was thrilled with the response and we committed to making this year’s event bigger and better.
“The exhibitors love the opportunity to share their work and the reception was so warm in Lockington last year that our members were very keen to come back,” he said.
Locky Blocks is running with the Lockington Swap Meet and Show ‘n’ Shine, a fully catered event under the auspices of Lockington Lions Club on at Lockington Park from 7am to 1pm. Admission is $5 per adult.
