A Victorian man has been charged with traffic, drug and weapons offences after a vehicle search in Moama yesterday.
About 2.30pm on Tuesday, July 20, police were notified of a vehicle in a car park on Perricoota Rd.
Officers spoke with a 38-year-old man, before allegedly finding an electronic stun device in his pocket.
Upon searching the vehicle, police allegedly located methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a knife. Building equipment and four chainsaws were also seized.
The man was arrested and taken to Moama Police Station where he was charged with possess prohibited drug, custody of knife in public place, possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit, licence expired two years or more before, use unregistered registrable motor vehicle on road and use uninsured motor vehicle.
The man has been granted bail to appear in Moama Local Court on Wednesday, September 8.
