MATHOURA Public School students were treated to a special end-of-term surprise with a visit from Easter Bunny.
Their furry friend visited during the school's Easter hat parade on Thursday, April 1, and joined in the fun, dancing to the Macarena and the Nutbush.
The Easter celebrations concluded with Mathoura Public School's Parents and Citizens’ Association holding a mini cake stall and an Easter raffle which raised close to $1000.
Overall, principal Janice Eddy said it was a great day which the school community was able to share with the Mathoura township.
“The school was excited to be able to invite parents, grandparents and community members to their end-of-term celebrations,” she said.
“The school and the P&C would like to thank the local school community for supporting their celebrations and making it the perfect way to end an extremely successful Term 1.”
