Moama Lions Club donates $1500 to ERH cancer and wellness centre

"This is a worthy cause," he said.

"We all end up here at one time or another, so it's important to give back."

ERH nurse unit manager Lyn Jeffreson said the donation was another step towards a state-of-the-art cancer care facility.

"We greatly appreciate these funds from the lions club towards this worthwhile project which will meet the needs of our community," she said.

Phil said the club was always looking for new members.

"The more members we have, the more we can do for the community," he said.
