The iconic Deni Ute Muster gates and windmill will be lit up yellow from 6pm to 6am each day during the campaign - which started Sunday, May 11 and concludes on May 18.
National Road Safety Week is an annual initiative raising awareness of road injury and death.
Statistics show about 1200 people are killed and another 40,000 or more are seriously injured on Australian roads.
Traffic injury is also considered the biggest killer of Australian children under 15, and the second-biggest killer of all Australians aged between 15 and 24.
These devastating numbers are growing every year but are preventable, which is why National Road Safety Week provides the opportunity for community members to make the pledge to ‘Drive So Others Survive’.
