The state’s top lawn bowlers will descend on the Moama Bowling Club as the annual Interstate Test Series comes to the twin towns.
Twenty-four bowlers, including representatives from Australia’s national team the Jackaroos, will go head-to-head with South Australia from February 20-22.
Victoria’s men’s team is called the Victoria Thunder and the women’s is Victoria Lightning.
Commonwealth Games 2018 gold and sliver medallists Carla Krizanic, of Sunbury Bowling Club, and Barrie Lester, of Melbourne Bowling Club, will lead their respective squads.
Wodonga local Kylie Whitehead will also represent the women’s team, with the 2018 Australian champion of champions winner recently celebrating her 100th game for her state.
Tournament host Moama Bowling Club is a long-time supporter of the Victorian state team and is a major sponsor of the side.
Moama Bowling Club chief executive officer Paul Barnes said he is delighted to see the club attract elite level events to the region and the opportunity to showcase its premier facility.

The Victorian team will be looking to savour the moments of their last clash with their southern neighbour as they enter the week hoping to retain both men’s and women’s trophies for a second time.
The two sides last met at in February 2018 at Salisbury Bowls Club in South Australia, with Victoria taking top honours after both squads secured victories; the men 3-2 and the women 5-0.
The Interstate Test Series between Victoria and South Australia will start at 1pm on February 20 at Moama Bowling Club. Five Tests will be played over three days.
