Hosted by local artist Elizabeth Jaworski, the event offers an alternative for the Valentine’s weekend and is open to all women, single or otherwise.
Designed to “foster creativity and connection”, the night offers a calm space for women to unwind and enjoy time together.
Ms Jaworski said the Galentine’s event is a chance for women to connect with other women.
“It is a bit of a self-care (event), for girls to take a night off from their busy lives,” she said.
“Leave your partners at home and just come and enjoy a night with your friends or come to meet new ones.”
The highlight of the evening will be a beginner-friendly painting session led by Ms Jaworski.
“I've got a glam girl painting design ready, and it's going to be very loosely guided so that people aren't just listening to me talk the entire time,” Ms Jaworski said.
Attendees will also enjoy some art themed games with prizes to be won and a goody bag for each guest.
Local and non-local businesses have donated raffle prizes, with one free raffle ticket included with every event ticket purchased.
Guests can buy up to five additional raffle tickets on the night, with a bonus free ticket available for those who share and tag the event on social media during the evening.
Drinks will be available at bar prices and grazing boxes can be purchased at an extra cost.
The event will be held on Friday, February 13 at the Rich River Golf Club, Moama from 6pm to 9pm.
