For the past three weeks, $250, $500 and $1000 vouchers have been given out as a thank-you to shoppers for investing in the local economy.
The promotion, sponsored by Riverine Herald, has been running for 13 years. S & J Furniture has sponsored the past three editions.
In the final week, Cheree Heath was excited to have won $1000 from shopping at Mary’s Wool Shop.
“I bought wool. Mary encouraged me to enter the competition,” she said.
“I’m a mad craft person, and I’ve been going there for years.
“I’m on a pension, so finding out I won was like Christmas. It was so exciting... I couldn’t sleep.”
Sonja Ross took home $500 from her Mary’s Wool Shop purchase, and Debbie Shannon won $250 from her purchase at Echuca Charcoal Chicken.
In week one, Rhonda Dargan won $1000 from her The Pear Tree purchase, Helen Wilson received $500 from her purchase at Mary’s Wool Shop, and Kay Wearne took home the $250 voucher from shopping at The Pear Tree.
The second week saw William Thomas Beatton win $1000 from picking up his mum’s shopping from Guys & Girls, $500 to Jodie Abbott from shopping at Amcal Pharmacy, and Kristine Egan win $250 from her S & J Furniture purchase.
At the end of the campaign, nine people have been rewarded for their local shopping, totalling $5250 in vouchers.
The voucher can be spent at any of the 25 participating businesses, including Enliven Active & Dance, Collins Booksellers, Blue Sky Outdoor Experts, Fashionably High, and Inspirations Paint.
