Coaches will replace evening trains on the Bendigo line for the entire journey from Sunday, June 15, to Wednesday, June 18, due to V/Line maintenance works.
On the Sunday, if you are travelling from Southern Cross Station, from 8.30pm to the last service, coaches replace trains to Bendigo/Epsom/Eaglehawk for the entire journey.
And, from Bendigo, the 8pm service will be replaced by coaches to Southern Cross for the entire journey.
From Monday to Wednesday, if you are travelling from Southern Cross Station, from 8pm to the last service, coaches replace trains to Bendigo/Epsom/Eaglehawk for the entire journey.
And, from Bendigo, from 7.30pm to last service, they will be replaced by coaches to Southern Cross for the entire journey.
Coaches replace Bendigo and Echuca line trains for all or part of the journey from Friday night, June 20, until last service on Saturday, June 21, due to Metro Tunnel works.
Allow an additional 60 minutes’ travel time for your journey.
On Sunday, June 22, the 5.51am Bendigo to Southern Cross service will be replaced by coaches from Gisborne to Southern Cross.
On the Friday, from Southern Cross Station, from 9.30pm to last service, coaches replace trains to Bendigo for the entire journey.
From Bendigo, from 9pm to last service, coaches replace trains to Southern Cross for the entire journey.
On the Saturday, coaches replace all trains between Southern Cross and Gisborne. Trains will run between Gisborne, Bendigo and Echuca.
Coaches will depart Southern Cross Station up to 30 minutes earlier than the usual time to connect with trains at Gisborne. Please check the temporary timetable before you travel.
Commuters are reminded there is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
No pets or hot food/liquids are allowed on replacement coaches. Cold packaged foods can be consumed on V/Line coach services. All drink containers must have a secure, screw-top, fastening or spill-proof lid.
Passengers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal on Spencer St, opposite Little Bourke St.
