Moama Police, who knew that he was wanted as a suspect in an alleged July break and entry, arrested the man and took him into custody.
He has been charged with a number of aggravated break and entry offences and will attend Moama Local Court at the next sitting date.
Theft at construction site
Between August 5 and August 8, unknown people forced entry to a house under construction on Eucalypt Crt, Echuca.
Items allegedly stolen were multiple stone benchtops from the kitchen, bathroom and ensuite, basins, tapware and kitchen sink.

Caravan park theft
Between Sunday, August 6, and Monday, August 7, a push bike, barbecue, radio and surveyors level were allegedly stolen from a caravan park along Cobb Hwy in Moama.

Pedestrian hit
Stanhope Police are appealing for information in relation to an incident that occurred on Friday, August 4, at about 6pm.
Police believe a female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle which she was walking along the side of the south-bound lane of McEwen Rd, Kyabram, between Fenaughty St and Brose Rd.
The woman was able to walk to a nearby residence where a request for an ambulance was made.
Police are appealing for information from the members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or from any drivers who may believe they struck something with their vehicle while driving in the area.

Operation Enforceable
Echuca Police have joined with other officers to help target wanted family violence perpetrators through a new major statewide operation.
Operation Enforceable will see specialist units unite to proactively target and apprehend perpetrators known to actively avoid police detection or who have outstanding warrants or unserved family violence intervention orders.
Of the perpetrators, more than 1100 have outstanding warrants, more than 750 have outstanding whereabouts and more than 640 have an unserved family violence IVO.
More than 500 have other outstanding enforceable actions, such as bail compliance, DNA orders and fingerprint identification files.
