Seeking owners

Hand tools have been handed to Benalla police. They were found on the walking track behind the Aquatic Centre on November 2.

• Police located a tent and frisbee in the Woolworths car park on November 3.

• An orange-coloured plastic car side mirror cover was found at the corner of Nunn and Bridge Sts on November 3 and handed to police.

Erratic driving on highway

About 9pm on Thursday, November 2, Benalla police were alerted by a member of the public to a vehicle driving erratically on the Midland Hwy, Benalla.

Police say they intercepted the vehicle and found the driver was disqualified from driving and was driving with a blood alcohol reading in excess of 0.05.

The driver will be summonsed to appear in court at a future date in relation to these offences.

Incident on Hume

Police are appealing for information and dashcam footage in relation to an incident on the Hume Fwy between 9am on Saturday, October 28 and 6am on Sunday, October 29.

A red Ford Fiesta hatchback was parked in the service lane on the freeway after it was involved in a collision in the Melbourne-bound lanes between Violet Town and Euroa. The driver returned to their car the following day to find it had been further damaged and items had been stolen.
