On Thursday, June 26 about 7pm, Moama police were called to Shaw St, Moama following reports of an alleged assault.
It was alleged that a 56-year-old man was assaulted at the location, receiving minor facial injuries.
A relative of the victim said the victim was taken to the Echuca hospital to have CT scans and other checks done.
Police said the man also had property taken at the location, including a mobile phone and a box trailer containing firewood.
No person has been charged yet, as police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
