The next generation of farm machinery enthusiasts are participating in this year’s event.
Vaughan Glass from Nanneella and Hugh Macague from Rochester are exhibiting their unique machinery collections at the event.
Mr Glass, a vintage tractor collector, will be demonstrating some of his machines and competing in the popular vintage tractor-pull at the event.
His collection features various John Deere model tractors and a rare Case 400 Hyclear Diesel, with only 67 diesel models and 58 petrol models ever manufactured.
Mr Macague, 28, collects tractors and harvesters and has been participating in the event for about 10 years, bringing a different machine from his collection each year.
“If I hadn’t been driving to Quambatook one year ... I never would have come across the rarest tractor, which I have in my collection, which is the Waltanna Trac 225” Mr Macague said.
“They’re probably the last tractor made in Australia.”

This year, Mr Macague plans to bring unique machines, including a Massey Ferguson 31, which is a small German-built machine and only 1.7 metres wide.
He also plans to demonstrate a homemade tractor built in the 1960s.

“It’s essentially the predecessor to the Upton Tractors, which became quite famous in NSW,” Mr Macague said.
“The biggest two-wheel drive tractors in the world.”
The event will be held on Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25 with gates opening at 10am on both days.
A working demonstration of harvesting machinery will go ahead on both days, with the tractor-pull set to be staged at about 3pm on Saturday.
Collectors who bring and demonstrate their harvesters or enter tractors in the vintage tractor-pull are welcome, along with all machinery enthusiasts who want to watch or participate.
