Rennie Football Netball Club is mourning the sudden loss of one of their own, Beau Hornidge who died on Thursday morning.
The club has started a GoFundMe to help support Beau’s fiancé, Britt and their three young children, Zara, Harper and Judd.
Beau was a player and sponsor of RFNC and the Reserves Player’s Player in 2021.
In a Facebook post this week, the club described him as “a ripper”.
“He certainly had a crack when he played but more importantly, he was great to be around, up for a chat and laugh,” it read.
Tim Dykes remembered how rapt Beau was to become a dad and how proud he was.
“He was just one of those guys you loved having on your team … he will be sadly missed.”
