One More Weekend is a four-man band including lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Connor Dougan, lead guitarist Tim Aslett, bass guitarist Leith Dougan and drummer Jayson Riley.
The band has been together for a decade, releasing several singles and a full-length album over the years.
Their two-day tour was announced shortly after the release of their latest single, Aunty Meredith, which has been out for just three weeks.
Band member Connor Dougan said they were excited about the upcoming tour, as the support they received from regional and rural audiences was always overwhelming.
“We absolutely love coming to the country. For us, our rural support is massive,” he said.
“You guys rock up to a show that we're doing, you buy our merch, you take pictures with us, you make us feel like rock stars when all we really do is write songs in our band room and play them on stage.
“There's no crowd like the country crowd, to put it bluntly.”

The tour has been brought together with the help of organisations such as Amplify, Northern District Community Health and the Victorian Government.
The band will also have artists Ryan McPartlane, Elias Lanyon and Connor Bulger as opening acts for their shows.
During the tour, the band will stop in Pyramid Hill, East Loddon on Friday, August 8 for meet-and-greet sessions with local schools before hosting a show in Bendigo later that night.
On Saturday, August 9, they will make their way over to the Gunbower Recreation Reserve to perform from 7pm.
After their set in Gunbower, they will travel again to the Cohuna Recreation Reserve for an 8.30pm start.

With 10 years of experience under their belt, Mr Dougan said they no longer had any pre-show nerves and were excited more than anything to get the tour under way.
“It's always good exploring new venues and new places and meeting new faces, especially across the countryside,” he said.
“We don't get nervous at all... we're just really excited to get back to the country and play another show for everyone.”
