If your choice was between Rocks and a hard place the choice is automatic.
Even people living in glasshouses don’t throw Rocks.
So Rocks on down to Heygarth St and Rocks on at Rocks.
It’s open for business and you can open your mind to the menu of new owner Ross Graham and his renaissance of The Rocks.
He is fast-tracking a culinary solution for the twin towns – and premium dining experience.
For the family.
The whole family.
Ross and wife Jemma are running their own young family – that would be daughters Cienna, three, and Savannah, nine months.
As a father of a growing brood, it took the self-confessed foodie two seconds to spot a boutique gap in the local market for quality dining experiences that accommodate kids.
“The restaurants with good food are where we want to go, but if they don’t allow, or actively discourage, kids then we can’t,” he said.
So the Grahams are going to fill the gap themselves.
Their first menu is stacked with a tantalising range, from prawn pasta, rare beef bruschetta and chicken parmigiana, along with $5 kid meals on Thursdays and Sundays.
But it’s The Rocks’ signature hot rock dining experience which will have you coming back; rocking on, as it were.
Again and again.
The hands-on hot rock method sears in the meat’s juices and nutrients, enhancing the flavour and tenderness of your meal – and it arrives at your table still sizzling on its heated stone.
It will remain hot and enjoyable, allowing you to pace your way through, with every bite as hot and delicious as the first.
As Ross likes to say, coming to his business is not just a meal, at The Rocks it’s an experience.
The Rocks, 35 Heygarth St, Echuca, is open from 5-10pm every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and as a weekend bonus, its door 5-11.30pm on Friday and Saturday.
