Students at Sacred Heart College have “knocked the ball out of the park” with this year's VCE results.
The outstanding results reflected the hard work and dedication of an amazing group of students who have been tremendous role models for all students at the college.
Thirteen percent of students achieved study scores of 40 or above placing them in the top bracket of students in the state.
Jessica Mangan was awarded College Dux with an amazing score of 98.35 which included a perfect study score of 50 for Further Mathematics.
Principal Lew Nagle said he was incredibly proud of the students' achievements navigating the challenges posed by remote learning and the pandemic.
He also paid tribute to staff at the college who had run homework clubs and holiday classes laying the foundations for these exceptional results.
