A team of six riders took off from Echuca’s Beechworth Bakery on Thursday morning to participate in the Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation “Snowy Ride”.

Rob Corry, Terry and Fiona Dodds, John Adams, Bob Burns, Leanne Mitchell and Alan Brown rode from Echuca to the east of NSW, where they travelled around marking off at least three checkpoints on a map.
The checkpoints for the ride include Cooma, Berridale, Adaminaby, Dalgety, Bombala, Jindabyne, Charlotte’s Pass and Thredbo.
In its 20-plus-year history the Snowy Ride and Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation will have generated more than $9 million for childhood cancer research.
