THE region’s best junior footballers strutted their stuff at the 33rd annual Goulburn Campaspe Junior Football League carnival on Sunday.
Teams from five competitions made the trip to Rochester Recreation Reserve as part of the event, with teams entered across age groups from under 12s to under 16s.
It proved to be a successful day for the Shepparton District Junior Football League as they took out the under 14s and under 16s age groups.
Meanwhile, Central Victoria Blue claimed the under 12s.
Echuca United’s Brady Simpson had a largely successful day on a personal front after he was awarded best Murray Football League player of the carnival for the under 16s.
