“You get to create something and then see it in the patient, which is the part I really enjoy,” Mr Greer said.
“On my side of the dental fence, creating dentures, we can continually update people’s smiles for the rest of their lives.”
The studio creates partial and full dentures for patients who have lost some or all of their natural teeth.
Mr Greer’s clientele predominantly spans ages 60 to 90, including several centenarians.
Utilising state-of-the-art digital technology, Mr Greer crafts precise mouth replicas to design and manufacture dentures.
The studio offers various options for partial dentures, including acrylic, flexible and chrome/cobalt (metal) varieties.
“My preferred material is the chrome/cobalt; it is great for the mouth, it fits incredibly well, it is about a third of the thickness and a lot stronger than the other dentures on the market,” Mr Greer said.
“We try to utilise chrome/cobalt wherever we can with partial dentures because they are a lot better for the patient’s mouth.”
The studio takes pride in creating dentures that look natural and complement individual features.
“It is about designing a denture to make it look natural in line with the patient’s features,” Mr Greer said.
“We go above and beyond to make sure that it doesn’t look artificial and replicates what nature intended.”
