U11s
What a fabulous game to watch.
The consistent pressure down the court was fantastic, using channels and pushing those passes out in front.
Well done, girls.

A beautiful day for a super game of netball.
At times, our tough, consistent efforts showed fantastic rewards, even bringing the score back to a difference of only one in the final quarter.
Great effort.
Awards: Grace Moyle (Roma Pizza), Tilly Maconachie (Paramount), Abby Larkin (EU Canteen), Hayley Depace (Petstock).
U15s — United 46 def. Finley 19
A slow start to the game saw the girls have to come together and work hard as a team to get themselves in the game.
A strong second quarter saw the girls combine well with defensive pressure all over the court.
The versatility of the team enabled changes on the court and the girls were able to come away with a solid win.
Awards: Koa Lucic (McDonald’s), Charlotte Gould (ATS), Kallahrney Turner (EU Canteen).

MFL U14s — United 17.9.111 def. Finley 2.3.15
This week we hosted Finley in another top-four clash, keen to test ourselves against another quality opponent.
We set ourselves for a consistent four-quarter effort, with a particular focus on getting off to a good start.
From the first bounce it was clear everyone was switched on.
Midfielders lead by Hunter Dixon and Ollie Poole won plenty of the ball, Sam Fisher and Bryce Barnstable were providing great targets up forward and when needed our back six were rock solid.
Our wingers, Jake and Godders, were providing great support to our defenders and pushing hard forward, which meant the ball spent plenty of time in our forward half, giving the forwards lots of great looks at goal.
To Finley’s credit they continued to work hard all day but, in the end, on the back of our best performance for the year and with Sam and Barney kicking seven snags each, we prevailed comfortably.
Awards: Hunter Dixon (Eagles Award), Riley Godfrey (Eagles Canteen), Bryce Barnstable (Subway), Jake Clancy (Roma Pizza), Sam Fisher (Pet Stock), Ollie Poole (Paramount).

The boys took on Finley at home in round 15 of Murray League football.
It should have been a well-contested game with the ladder leaders taking on the fourth placed Cats.
Unfortunately for Finley, they got United at their best.
The Eagles jumped out of the blocks firing all across the field.
Kynan Sharpe is in amazing form at the moment, and as usual he had the ball on a string.
He was well supported through the midfield by Jye Smith and Tommy Holmes.
The boys didn’t take the foot off the pedal in the second quarter either, Jack Jansen, Jesse Garner and Ned Osborne were scoring at will, with Finley seemingly having no answers.
At half time United were leading by a comfortable 71 points.
The second half turned into a more scrappy affair with the Cats trying to shut down United’s dominance.
Jordan Lloyd, Josh Beverage and Liam Depace repelled any of Finley’s scoring attempts, and were successful in keeping the Cats goalless.
Multiple goal scorers were Janso and Ned with four, Jesse three and Magic with two.
Awards: Kynan Sharpe (Paramount), Jordan Lloyd (Roma), Liam Depace (Charcoal Chicken), Ned Osborne (KFC), Jye Smith (United Canteen), Kale Edwards (Hard family encouragement award).
