Ute stolen in Echuca, found in Rochester

The vehicle was parked on the roadside on McKenzie Rd (Echuca-Kyabram Rd) near the Echuca airport when thieves struck between 5.50am and 7.30am.

Detective Senior Constable Stuart Poulton of Echuca Criminal Investigation Unit said it was unknown if the vehicle had been used in any burglaries.

"We're still making inquiries at this stage and appeal to anyone with information to come forward," he said.
